“I had my wedding reception in the Lady Gregory Hotel, Gort on the 6th September 2024. Caroline was so helpful and went out of the way to your needs she really did an amazing job on the decorations, in planning the meal went so smooth and quick. She takes time to sit down with you leading up to the wedding. She is A1 and knows what she is talking about. The food was to die for!!! Everyone complimented the food it was so good. The staff were very friendly and obliging I have gotten compliments on the staff and how friendly they were. The hotel is a beautiful hotel, rooms are lovely and spacious bar food and breakfast were lovely! No complaints at all. I would really consider the Lady Gregory for your wedding reception great food, great staff and great location too. “We celebrated our wedding on the 25th of August 2022, this was our third date with covid impacting earlier dates. The hotel was very obliging during this time and maintained regular contact and support. Manager Caroline was superb in overseeing our special day and ensuring everything went smoothly from guest arrivals, reception and meal. “What can we say? From the moment we contacted the hotel to organise and plan our wedding they couldn’t be anymore helpful. A special thank you to Caroline, who is a star to work with. This is the perfect wedding venue with such fab details around the function room and main lobby, everywhere really!, with the most amazing staff! The Hotel is beautiful and was just the perfect location for us. The staff were amazing as well! Every member of the team at the hotel was so helpful and friendly, especially Fiona and Leanna in reception. Everything ran so smoothly, the food was delicious and everyone had a great day. Our Day Was Just Incredible

“I honestly don’t know where to begin. I got married to my husband just in June and I cannot thank the Lady Gregory, the O’Grady Family, Caroline and staff enough for the wedding they hosted for us and our loved ones. The day was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Any requests we had, they assisted without hesitation. Every little detail about the day was just incredible. The food was heavenly. The music and dancing started at 9.30, on schedule and the staff made this happen. The interior is aesthetically pleasing for everyone. The Staff and team put 120 percent into making the most special day of our lives. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. We had our reception drinks in the new Dilly’s courtyard and it was like being abroad. The day was promised sunny so we decided to have our music, drinks & nibbles outside and it was such a nice touch to the day. The banquet room is the best around and you will not find better. If you want to have a wedding with scrumptious quality food, brilliant accommodation, great service, uniqueness and to feel very special on your wedding day, book the Lady Gregory and they will not disappoint you. We have only received good feedback and positive comments since our wedding day If I could do it all again in the morning I would as the lady Gregory made the planning of my wedding stress free. A Memorable Day

“We had our wedding in the Lady Gregory Hotel Gort on the 30th of April 2022. From the moment we contacted the hotel about booking our wedding they could not help us enough. They made sure we had everything we needed and were there to help in any way they could. Due to covid we had to change our dates a few times and management were so easy deal with and totally understanding. Caroline Burke the manger was at the other end of the phone and email to help us in any way we needed day or night. They made sure our day was a memorable day. The food was amazing and the wine and champagne were unreal. The Staff were so helpfull and professional. The bridal sweet was amazing and our parents were put in suites which they loved. We got champagne breakfast in bed the next day. We had a civil cermony in the the reading room in the hotel and they had a beautiful flower wall as a surprise for us. And the room was set up really intimitaley which added to the atmosphere on the day. We had the reception in the main function room and the room was amazing with purple lights, white covers and sashes on the chairs and beautiful center pieces on all the tables. I cannot thank Caroline and all the staff in the Lady gregory enough for what they did for us leading up to the wedding, the day of the wedding and the day after the wedding. We would highly recommend this hotel for any event we have had christening and birthday parties here in the past and they have always catered for us so well. The reception staff are so friendly and helpfully and ensure our baby sitter and kids were in the room next to us and that our families were all on the same floor as us.“

Anniversary Celebration

“Our daughter got married two years ago in the depths of Covid and so we were unable to celebrate the occasion with a lot of family and friends. I approached the hotel and was introduced to Caroline. From that moment on, she guided us and helped us achieve everything we wished for the occasion. Nothing was too much trouble. The day of the celebration was amazing, from the drinks reception in the Library and Dilly’s on a beautiful sunny day, to the meal in the Ballroom with silver service! The food and service was really good, I did not find fault with either. I would especially like to Thank Caroline and Aileen, a great team. Thank you for making the day so special for all of us and your attention to detail.”
